ActiGoose

Privacy

Last changed 25 October 2026.

ActiGoose is a private training app for a household and the people they invite. It is not a commercial service: nobody pays for it, there are no adverts, and your data is never sold or used for anything but running the app for you. This page says what it keeps about you, where it comes from, who else sees it, and what you can do about it.

Who runs it

ActiGoose is run by its administrator, Matthew, who decides how your data is used and is responsible for it. It can only be used by people the administrator has added. For anything about your data, contact matt.jarv@outlook.com.

What it keeps about you

Where it comes from

What it is used for

Only to give you the app: your training, your health and readiness, your food, plans that fit your life, and Goose's answers about all of these. Nothing is used for adverts, sold, or shared beyond what this page lists. There are no analytics or tracking services.

Who else sees it

Where it is kept, and how it is protected

Everything is stored on a private server run by the administrator, not with a cloud provider. The connection to it is always encrypted (HTTPS). You sign in with a code sent to your Telegram rather than a password, and your session is a secure cookie that lasts up to 30 days. Logins for other services (such as Garmin's) are kept encrypted. If the administrator keeps backups, they hold the same data and are protected the same way.

Cookies and your device

ActiGoose sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. It also keeps a few things on your device: your choices in the app (such as whether Goose is pinned), a workout in progress so that it survives losing signal, and a copy of the app's files so a workout can open offline. None of this is used to follow you anywhere else.

How long it is kept

For as long as you have an account, so your history stays useful to you. Files shared with Goose are discarded as soon as they are read. When your account is removed, everything linked to it is deleted with it.

Your choices and rights

These are your rights under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. To use them, contact matt.jarv@outlook.com. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

ActiGoose is not meant for anyone under 16.
