Terms of service

Who can use it

• Only people the administrator has added. You need to be at least 16.
• Your account is for you alone. Don't share it or let anyone else sign in as you.
• You sign in with a code sent to your Telegram, so whoever controls your Telegram can sign in as you. Keep it safe (turn on Telegram's two-step verification), and tell the administrator at once if you think someone else has got in.

Not medical advice

ActiGoose helps you plan training, follow your health and log your food. It is not a doctor, a dietitian or a physiotherapist, and nothing in it is medical advice or a diagnosis. Training plans, readiness and condition readings, nutrition ranges and everything Goose says are general estimates from your data, and they can be wrong.

• Talk to a doctor before starting or changing training if you have, or think you might have, a health condition, an injury, or are pregnant.
• Stop and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or anything else that worries you, whatever your plan says.
• You decide what you actually do. Training and eating are at your own risk.

Goose, the coaching assistant

Goose is powered by an AI model (Claude, from Anthropic). It answers from your data and from general knowledge, and it can misunderstand, miscalculate or be out of date. Check what matters before you rely on it. Goose never changes your plans, rules or logs without your agreement: it proposes, and nothing happens until you accept.

Your content

What you put into ActiGoose (your training, notes, food, check-ins, chats and files) stays yours. You allow ActiGoose to store and process it only to run the app for you, as the privacy page describes. You can export it at any time under System, Export, and have it deleted. Only share files, links and information you are entitled to share.

Fair use

• Use ActiGoose for your own training and health, and as a coach only for people who have let you in.
• Don't try to reach other people's data, break or overload the app, or use it to do anything unlawful.
• Don't use Goose to produce harmful or unlawful content.

Other services

ActiGoose connects to services run by others: Garmin Connect, Oura, Telegram, Anthropic, OpenStreetMap and Open Food Facts. Their own terms apply to your use of them. The connection to Garmin Connect is not an official Garmin integration: you give ActiGoose your Garmin login to fetch your own data, and it may stop working whenever Garmin changes its systems. ActiGoose is not responsible for those services or what they do with your data.

No guarantees

ActiGoose is run on a private server by one person, for free, as it is. It may be unavailable, slow, changed or stopped at any time, and data could be lost despite care. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose (System, Export).

Responsibility

As far as the law allows, the administrator is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your use of ActiGoose, or from relying on its plans, readings, estimates or Goose's answers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence.

Leaving, and being removed

You can stop using ActiGoose and ask for your account to be deleted at any time; everything linked to it is deleted with it. The administrator can suspend or remove an account, for example if these terms are not kept, or if ActiGoose closes, and will tell you first where possible so you can export your data.

Changes

These terms may change. When they do, the date above changes and the app's What's new says so. Carrying on using ActiGoose after a change means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. If a dispute can't be settled by talking, the courts of Geneva decide, unless the law where you live gives you another choice.
